NZXT Gaming PC Rental Scam

Well not actually sell computers rent them part swap them keep same name no one will be the wiser.
is how it'd work if Tech Jesus didn't exist which clearly they don't care enough to about the work he's doing.
 
I know GN can go over the top sometimes (I generally dislike that), but I am good with it in cases like this. It gets major traction to call out big business for pulling the wool over the eyes of many people.
 

Have not watched yet just popped up in my feed. But it is an interview between Jay and current NZXT ceo.
 
I haven't watched the Jayz2cents video yet but what can you really say as an excuse when you charge a person 15K for 5 years rental of a PC and GN pointed out one PC they rented could be purchased for 1K.

I honestly think for A holes that company's and have shitty practice's they need to bring back the firing squad.

I gave Jay's videos a shot a few years ago, but I don't enjoy him much. Not quite informative enough to be 'educational', not entertaining enough to be 'entertainment'. I never got the 'ah, he seems like a twat' vibe like what I got from Linus, but something about Jay always seems off to me, so I likely won't bother watching (though I don't discourage others, he's just not my jam I suppose).

I would be curious to know if he reached out and set up the interview or if NZXT did looking for an outlet to do damage control. From my past watches of Jay, I don't expect a hard hitting interview, but he's also not that kind of presenter so I wouldn't dock him for it as long as it's not a thinly veiled 'adver-pology' by NZXT.

Only watched like the last third but the CEO sounds like either he has no idea what he's doing or it's totally calculated. I would say J2Z did grill the CEO a bit because the CEO couldn't come up with a good answer.

Jay's other Nzxt video he mentioned he had been emailing the CEO but not getting any sort of response. So Jay was actively seeking communication since this blew up.
