Kijiji's website design has gone full stupid again..........

Seriously folks..... I'm viewing your content on a desktop monitor in landscape mode, not a cell phone or tablet in portrait mode.... that's why I'm using the desktop page and not the mobile page/app.

Why oh why can I not find anywhere that sells thermal pads locally? Sure it would be easy to order from Amazon, but nothing if I want to just get in the car and drive to the store.

Come on Memory Express, why the hell are you not carrying it?!?!

I honestly can't imagine the demand is very high. Who uses them besides people who watercool GPUs? Do they sell watercooling equipement?

They sell some now, but all custom order I think, well except for the pre-filled ones. Still they would take up next to no shelf space. Just really frustrating.

It's typically not a consumer product, hell, it's not even really a product that a repair tech would normally need so even electronics supply stores/depots probably wouldn't carry stock.

My rant for the day is hard cover novels which don't indicate anywhere that they're the first book in a series. IMO, without such an indication I should be able to return said book as faulty......:angry2::censored::angry2:

So I have this spare 500GB HDD that I might as well hook up to use as a downloads drive. I should maybe wipe the drive and run Seatools on it first, right? Hook it up. Open up diskpart. 'list disk'. Disk 2 has shown up. Just like when I did the 4 other HDDs yesterday, it showed up as Disk 2, right? Nope. My 500GB SSD got bumped to Disk 2. The 500GB HDD showed up as Disk 1. 'select disk 2'. 'clean'.

O weird, my desktop backgrounds are black. I'll open my E: and see what the problem is.. "The drive or network connection that the shortcut refers to is unavailable". Uh oh. Did I seriously just wipe the wrong drive? Go look at the diskpart window.
PHP:
DISKPART> list disk

Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt
  -------- ------------- ------- ------- --- ---
  Disk 0 Online 238 GB 0 B *
  Disk 1 Online 465 GB 465 GB *
  Disk 2 Online 447 GB 0 B *

DISKPART> select disk 2

Disk 2 is now the selected disk.

DISKPART> clean

DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.
Why yes I did.

Thankfully I didn't format it (which would TRIM the drive), just erased the partitioning table. Recovery is running right now and I should be able to get all the data back.
