Rants etc.....

crikey! guess you need to consider installing some height extension...frame in another 3ft of heavy mesh wire or something?
Edmonton by-laws are 6'. The section of fence it jumped is 5'6" between the posts. Not sure the extra legal 6" would even make a difference.

What's that based on? IIRC the 6' requirement was for having a pool.... is there a bylaw requiring 6' for any fencing that's put up?

found my ugreen m.2 NVME enclosure that I knew I bought long ago but misplaced it and actually thought that it wasnt delivered . Unfortunately I am not sure if its defective or the m.2 drive is toast which I highly doubt , the drive doesn't show up and then in diskmanagement try to initiate drive it gives me incorrect function error lol

More Rakuten bullshiz.

Make order at Aliexpress last night. One item for $75ish and 2 small ones worth $12. All done on same order. Rakuten cash back is 20%.

Within a couple hours I've got cash back notification for the cheap items. But not the more expensive item. Yet the more expensive item is the one that shipped.

According to RFD this is normal. And you'll have to fight Rakuten for cash back. Supposedly their cash back amounts are also being adjusted months after purchase. The order amounts are being decreased by a substantial amount, leading to less cash back.

No matter what store I've used Rakuten for, I always end up having to deal with support to get the CB.

Coyote jumped neighbors' fence and dealt pretty severe damage to their dog.

Edit/Note: I'm within Edmonton's Henday loop not out on some remote acreage.
That is very uncommon I don't think I have ever seen that unless the fence is less than 4 ft or there is a tree right next to the fence where they can climb partway up the tree and over , I have seen at least at the pace I lived in that they dig small hole under the fence and get in that way and these hole can look tiny, but they still squeeze through them, I literally put large rocks under my whole backyard fence line ( this was the 1990s) because my Shepard would sneak out while a coyote snuck into eat his food last time was a large moose bone.
I thought that my Shepard looked smaller until I got closer, and it was a Coyote chewing on the bone spotted me ran to the hole took off, 3 seconds later my Shepard came in I think he was getting it on with the coyote females lol which is bad because the half coyote mix dogs are extremely smart and a huge problem in farm areas

~6ft fence realistically isn't much of an obstacle for them. Couple clips of them just casually walking up to the fence and jumping on top. Not even a running jump or anything like that.
