Well if it was his ear, then someone isn't that great, isn't centre mass the best way to kill someone . That sad I am not a fan of any killing but if this is real which wouldn't be surprising if it was just another Trump stung using blanks , I am surprised someone hasn't done this before.
I am also surprised that isnt isn't all over youtube I also find it amazing that not one of the dozen+ people sitting behind him was hit apparently what 8 shots fired all pretty much missing and not one civilian was hit
ok I stand correctly apparently one civilian was killed and a couple others injured I am not sure if they were behind him or not

Go look at some news sites - it's as real as it gets..... one of the rally attendees dead from a shot in the head, and two others in critical condition.

I'm genuinely surprised that you're surprised at the comments...... I've read them a few times now, and there's only two that MIGHT be something you'd make that comment about.

"They missed!"...... that one is up in the air, i.e. was it merely a statement of fact, or expressing disappointment? I don't know.....

and then:

"This is all crazy.

Edit - I will cut the rest and leave it at that"...... maybe you read that one, and thought it was inappropriate, but it got edited before I had a chance to read it, so as far as I can see, there's nothing else here to be surprised about. :unsure:

Having said that, when we heard about this, both my wife and bro-in-law said, "too bad he missed", and on one hand, given the disgusting, poor excuse of a human being Trump is, him going away would be good for the U.S., and the world in general, BUT having been a kid and seeing Robert Kennedy laying in a pool of blood on the news, and feeling all kinds of disgust, sorrow, & shock, I don't wish Trump dead..... I just wish that Republicans had a collective brain in their heads, and made him go away when they had the chance.
 
I know that Trump is not everyone's cup of tea. He's definately not mine. But my first thoughts were of shock and how can this happen in this day and age. Maybe I'm just built different that most these days, but even now a day later I havent wished him dead. Those thoughts are reserved for the most vial in our society. Anway, everyone is entitled to their opinions I guess.

Well, given that guns are so easy to get down there, it's not surprising - there's shootings EVERY DAMN DAY..... just read a blurb yesterday, about how 3 U.S. states now have ammo vending machines in grocery stores! :eek:

That, and it's not exactly a new thing - I read this blurb last night, and of course I knew about several of them, but there were some I hadn't read about before:

Mine wasn’t offensive or surprising before the edit (I don’t think). Mostly just stated that the world we are in is changing and that as a broad observation, politics/politicians in countries around the world are becoming more polarizing. Decided to remove that to avoid that topic and keep it to the shooting.

Brother. This is not a "how can there be a shooting" question. It's "how can the shooter get that close to the former president" question. With all the cameras and technology we have today. And really I'm not the only one asking that question today.

he was on a rooftop and took a sniper position. I saw a diagram and I wonder about it's accuracy though because the guy that died from the head shot was between the shooter and Trump, but not in his line of sight. maybe a breeze that they failed to account for caused drift, but that's odd.

edit - I don't doubt we'll learn more as the investigation goes along to find out how this could happen. your question about how they could get so close...inside job? /s
