The free code gets you single player in a Hornet, if you are a current backer you have full access to every ship currently flyable.

And if you have the Retaliator, you can jump into the PTU and check it out, also when the Social module comes out can I come and see it in person? The videos of it are stunning, the interior of the ship is in an entirely different league, makes my constellation look sad, we can only cross our fingers for the current reword that its going through. Also GIANT missiles!

is the only thing left to buy a package that gets me the game and a ship?

or what steps need to be taken once I've gotten my ship an hanger?

I recommend buying a Starter package.

That will get you the game and Arena Commander module.

The Downloads are Large so have space fore them.

The is no official group on this site mostly just this thread.

the newer modules will likely come on sale prices so watch fore them.

When FPS or Star Marine comes active this game will be much more active.

Linus forums has a group thats who I am with.

You can only fly ships that are in your hanger.
Sometimes they allow you to test fly ships fore a wile these wont appear in hanger but you can fly them.

Right now it is all Sim Pod flying so they are the ships you will have in the game but damage is not costly as it will be in game. Points are assessed fore things right now.

On the web site in MY RSI is where you will find a hanger section that activates your selections fore in game use. Under "My RSI "

Also you don't have to spend 100's of dollars to play the game. A simple 45$ Mustang or Aurora package will get you the full game and access to Arena Commander right now. They have the first portion of Squadron 42 ( singleplayer) episodes to be released this fall which is also included with the 45$ package.

When Star Marine comes out which should be fairly soon now , it'll cost 5$ if you're not an alpha backer. Arena Commander was the same way when it first started.

They're currently revamping all the constellations. Looking pretty nice so far. I almost picked up a Hull D last week. It's taking all my will power to not pick up a Starfarer right now.

There's going to be a live stream on this Friday that will last about 4 hrs. Remember this event is in Germany so the live stream will be happening sometimes in the early afternoon for western Canada.

Expect to see a live demo of the Retaliator in Arena Commander 2.0 to showcase multicrew ship, a glimpse at the planetside and a new build for Star Marine ( FPS )
