Patch dropped, 1.7.36, that adds the FOV slider in game. Official link: https://bethesda.net/en/game/starfield/article/5IleyfqI44NacBQGGC20Km/starfield-updates-1-7-36-october-09-2023#:~:text=A new update has been, other performance and stability improvements

To save others from hunting, the two sliders, one for first person and one for third, are under Accessibility in Settings. I went looking for it under Display, or Interface, but I guess what do I know? :)

Curiously it also adds better support for Intel Arc GPUs. I would not have thought that was much of a priority but there you go.

For some reasons, a lot of game Dev's like to put FOV under Accessibility instead of display and I have no idea why lol.

11k rounds of ammo...nice.
I went into NG+, sucks losing all your money and inventory :(

I immediately went for the looting perk for containers (Credits and Ammo) as the same existed in the FO series from Bethesda.
I also loot everything, and do tons of Mission board stuff to fuel my ship building addiction.
Thus, I have 11K for common guns, and usually 3-5 for everything else.
Its actually kinda ridiculous how much ammo you get with that perk.

I have too much of everything lol.

I buy up all the ammo at the vendors to increase their cash pool, then I sell all my junk. Always have plenty of ammo :)

I quickly did NG+2, now into 3. I suppose I'm going the path of the Hunter and have been skipping the introductory Constellation mission. I think people said its 5 iterations to get most things unlocked and 10 to fully complete, so maybe on the 5th I'll do a full play. Kinda doubtful I'll make it to 10 without losing interest though.

I think my last post was a bit pre-emptive, didn't start NG+3 until Friday? I ended up exploring the Crucible instead as I didn't do that on my original play through as I didn't have a ship that could jump there.

Anyways, for NG+3 I got a very different intro... so just did the main quest and onwards to NG+4 now.

That's 122hr seemingly

This just proves I'm insane.
I'm still on the first playthrough. 240+ Hours in now. And I don't want to leave. I know I will have to, I know this.
I just gotta take some screen shots of at least my 2 favorite ships so I can try and recreate them in the NG+ Environment, it took so much time and effort doing it I don't want to lose it.

That said, you wouldn't have issues reaching things if you had built your own ship :p;).

Would have still taken a while to get enough skill points and credits though...

For somebody like you, definitely make a full save (not a quick save that gets overwritten), and maybe copy the files for that matter too. At least you can go back if you want to.

I suppose it's part of the statistics, but it sounds like a lot of people don't bother entering NG+ at all. My question would be did they make that choice or did they read spoilers? Everything in the game appears to tell you to proceed into Unity.

I'll definately make a hard save. Just gotta see if I can back it up in case I accidently overwrite it on console.

I know I will eventually have to go into NG+ (unfortunately I have seen some spoilers because people forget to flag that in the Reddit). I know what happens in doing so, just gotta prepare.

And I missed my Monday post but I finally rebuilt the Razor Leaf and the Freestar Collective ship last night. Spent my entire night just doing that and getting them 'just right'.
Finally built a ship that's not 40M each way.

I've got it down to about 2.5hr now to complete a "cycle", though I'm not hunting down all the temples as I find those absolutely mind numbing and barely use them in combat anyhow. I just grab them if they're in the system with the artifact. But I'm getting to the point now where I know where the enemies will be... again, ties into the storyline, I am becoming the character...

NG+5 now... same intro still... :(
