The Happy thread!

Thanks Guys makes for a hella X-mass present.
And a BIG TY to all of you that are organ Donors, without ppl like you life would be a hella lot darker.

Wife and I are planning to send a TY note and update to the family of my tissue donor here in a few months once sometime has passed for them to grieve.

And Sam great news on your dad, I hope the other results are positive news.

Success!!!

Operation went well, transplant done. I am now the proud new owner of a emerald green eye. Looks weird as hell considering I had/have dark brown.
Must say absolute nightmare having the surgery, your awake and while they say you see nothing they lie, I saw and remeber it all.
I'll post up some pics once the swelling goes down, looks pretty raw still.

******* amazing to see again, think 1950"s fuzzy black and white to ultra high deff. though it is getting a little blurry now, but I am told that normal, DR said it looks good stitching seams to be holding. That was a huge concern since my condition causes me to have 10% the eyewall thickness as a normal person he was worried that the stitches wouldn't hold even for a day.

That is awesome to hear mate, I am so happy it went well for you!
