The Last of Us Part I

Finished it yesterday. One of the best games ever. Not one crash. Running triple 48" OLED's in surround. 90-100 fps mix of medium and high settings.
Wow. That's high praise! Glad it ran well for you. From the videos of the issues, seemed that settings over high were more problematic... Not that your setup should have issues with VRAM 😉 even with triple 48"!

I monitored it in Afterburner. Used around 18gb.

So using the latest update and the 531.58 hotfix driver on my RTX 3080 at 3440x1440, and no crashes while playing for about 60 minutes tonight. No glitches, stutters or anything else either. Keep your shivs for clickers, don't use them up on runners.

🤞. Do you have setting down enough to keep vram use in check?

Well, it sounds like they're getting things sorted out.

Alas, summer is almost here, which means my spare time will be mostly spent outside. Gaming has already taken a major drop in the past week or two.

I'll wait until the snow comes back, then buy the game and play it. Hopefully it will drop in price by then, too.

The latest update fixes the shader generation time, now down to about 15 minutes from 60ish for my PC. I've spent more time regenerating shaders than playing the game, I'm 3 hours and 23 minutes in. No crashes or stutters during the last couple of sessions. It's to the point I consider it playable without issues for me, and I'll work my way through the story now.
