Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max

Late update on these....

They improved the IP/ID throughput some time over the last few months (Tied to networking OS 7.0+? ). Currently getting 2GB+ with it enabled.

I wonder if the improvement is true with other devices as well? I'll have to do some testing.

The "5 day shipping" that's quoted (for me at least), usually means they ship on the 5th day from ordering. But since it's from Brampton, ON, it gets to me the next day that it does actually ship.

I wonder if it's better if you checkout as a business? Maybe just residential is de-prioritized.

We purchase directly as a business and it's almost bang-on the 5 day shipping every time. Funnily enough, it's usually 2-3 days for them to get the order out, and then shipping takes 2-3 days. So I wonder if they time their order picks to match known shipping times to certain regions to combine for the 5 day total? Odd practice if they do.

It hasnt been my experience but then Im in BC.

Payment is instant.
Processing can be anywhere from 3 days and beyond. One time I ordered and over a week went by "in payment received state" so I cancelled the order.
Then when they ship to me, It's 5 full days of shipping.
I'd gladly pay more for quicker shipping but there is no option for that.
The fastes shipping I have had was when my order was under the "Free 5 day shipping" thresh hold and it cost me $15 but even then it was 2 days, plus the weekend, and then 5 days on the truck.

I'm pretty sure the distributor is in Brampton, ON... so 5 days for ground shipping sounds about right to BC? Have you emailed them asking to provide an express/air shipping option? If nobody ever requests it, then they'd never see a need to provide it as the only people who would need urgent network equipment deliveries would rely on some 3rd party to do so.

That being said, I feel as though "in stock" items aren't actually in the warehouse here, possibly sitting in their US warehouse instead? That could also explain the slow processing time if they're actually moving the inventory up here too.

The latest update has added a unifi gateway "blocked" webpage to URLs that the adblock prevents from being displayed. Much better than the old standard "we couldn't reach this page" which always left it up in the air if there was a problem with the URL or if it had been blocked.
