I loved Alan Wake back in the day.

I've started playing it. The controls when using a controller are wack. But I'll continue playing.
Probably spoiled it tho from playing Control first.
I played on xbox 360 so It was fine for me on controller. I also have it on steam but never played it.
Alan Wake is.... alright. I ended up cheating and blowing through the game for the story, but the gameplay never really got all that amazing to me.
The very obvious product placement is a little over the top in the game, but it doesn't interfere with the game, so it's a minor gripe.
I liked it enough to finish it, but not enough to play the 'American Nightmare' sequel/expansion.

Haha, well my 'Viva la evolucion' was feeling a little dated.
I can never figure out how to get a screenshot. replaying CP from the beginning decided todo as many gigs and side quests before act2 to see what is different
I did that in my last playthrough that I finished last night. Played mostly main story till Johnny arrived then did side missions and gigs the rest of the time.
There is a catch though, as some side missions don't trigger until a little further in the main story, like the Kerry/Us Cracks missions. And if you are like me you have nothing left but the point of no return so you end up sleeping/passing time a lot to try to get things to trigger.
Still want to get 100% achievements though so have to do another ending and redo one I have done
And have 3 non ending achievements to do, but they could be hard. Certainly since I have never even used the berserk stuff.

The Devil ending, when you go along with Hanako will not give you the achievement unless Takemura is alive. Get same everything else basically but no achievement if he is dead
...and I'm officially addicted to Valheim. Its like Minecraft, but different, and absolutely hooks me.

Anyone following Dune: Spice Wars early access? I remember playing the original Dune RTS in the 90s with my Dad. We're looking forward to this newest edition, here's to hoping it can bring back that nostalgia. Its far from done but there's early access opening tomorrow, we're stoked to get a glimpse!
