Whats your latest purchase?

$2700ish on parts for the new shower. After all the leaks and crap we are just gutting the old jet tub that came with the place and putting in a shower.

Wanted to spend the money on the soundbar I wanted, but well it is what it is.

Ah, the joys of home ownership. From the sounds of it, that's just the parts and you're planning on doing the work yourself?

Yes that is just parts, but no, I'm not doing it myself. I have my contractor who did all the renos that technically never ended because of the leaks.

I know I could do it, but with the issues of the never ending leaks and such I'm just going to leave it to the experts. As it is we have to cut/cap/get rid of all the jet tub piping, replace most of the floor since we know it is water damaged, and well our guy will just do it better and quicker than I can.

Two Filter Queen Defenders off FB for $150 for both. They sell for $800 each. So pretty good price IMO.

Downside is genuine filters cost more than I paid... $175ish for each machine.
it's pupils are wonky and it badly needs to see a dentist about those fangs. seems there are good reasons they were so cheap!

This seemed like a decent enough deal to bite, will be a Christmas present for my mom. With the crazy RAM pricing, $44 didn't seem too bad for 8GB to upgrade the laptop to 16GB total.
