Whats your latest purchase?

So you bought a 5m tape measure according to the packaging, but it's labeled as a 16' on the tape measure, even though it's a metric one. Just pointing out how ingrained the Imperial system is even in manufacturing. I really like my Fastcap tape measure, but it's Imperial.

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago at HD. It was $8 and has a metal washer on the back so I can stick it on a magnet on the front of my tool box. Best tape I've ever owned, because it's always where I can see it. I can't remember who but I've heard it recommended you buy a handful of these short tape measures and put one on every tool you use. I'm going to grab a couple more to stick on my table saw and miter saw.

Dewalt 9' tape.webp

I have a different Dewalt and it was so terrible. With a couple days the tip was on 90 degrees crooked.

Few months later I was at KMS and they had a Stanley FatMax for $10. So I grabbed it. It was literally the exact same tape measure as the Dewalt :o. Although I had no issues with it warping.

I have a 15 year old Mastercraft Maximum that has been perfect. And is still my go for stuff around the house.

haha I'm thinking of returning the s11 and getting the s11 ultra.. One of the guys at work that designs stuff for our products says modifying the razer kishi v3 xl to open and extra 3" won't be a problem. Not sure how heavy that will be though...

I still have and use my old craftsman 25 foot tape I bought back in around 1982 when I Used to subcontract installing vinyl siding

Yeesh... looking at buying RE Requiem, $95?!?!?
Can probably find it on various key sites for a bit less? But $90 seems to be the new normal... I guess its ok if you look at the number of hours of entertainment it provides you...

I picked up Crimson Desert for $62.99USD... so like $87CAD. At least it avoids the taxes this way. Rogers Mastercard "refunds" 3% in cashback value (plus 1.5x when I redeem it against my Rogers services) so it nullifies the currency conversion at least.

Never thought of that, is it like a steam key or ??

I do have $30 in epic points. Guess didn't really have any plans for those...

Lot of people selling their bundled key for $40-60. It comes with some monitors, some graphics cards, some asus products including motherboards. Check redflagdeals bst video game forum.

Same company, just slapping a different label/shell on it. It sucks as the industry's condensed over the years. There's no guaranteed 'reliable' brands anymore either. Milwaukee, Rigid and Dewalt are all fairly decent, but each have their lemons and their 'cheap' brands (B&D, Ryobi, PC) are very 'you get what you pay for' on a lot of tools.
