Whats your latest purchase?

5 pumpkin pies at Costco. Knew today was the first day they sell them. Was in line for when they opened to make sure I got some without having to stand in line for hours.

I now want to go to costco after work and grab some pies ... bahh. No one but me really cares for them so no one in the family (immediate or extended) usually bothers to make them for thanksgiving etc.
Is there something about Costco ones that are significantly better? You lined up early because they sellout? Do they only make them this week or something?

Co-op had some nice ones but they closed the nearby location, Costco is closer to me than any grocery store at this point.

They make from today until thanksgiving. They are selling them at a loss, $7 for an absolute monster size. And they taste good. Crust is great. Could I make a better one? Probably. But it would cost the same and be 1/4 the size and take half a day.

A coop pie would be 500g. Costco are 1850g for cheaper than coop.

TCL 65" QLED (65Q750G-CA model). Very happy with the picture out of the box. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0C6G1PSVP

I probably could have gotten it cheaper if I waited until their Prime Big Deal days, but I didn't want to wait another 2 weeks to get my man cave viewing back.
I've been debating getting one of these for myself. Let me know what the bloom is like. Basically white captions blooming into black backgrounds.

I looked at the link and that TV is around 500cad cheaper than the 55" its funny part of me wanted to buy it just because it was cheaper but I already have an older 55" I bought last year that little whisper in m year saying buy it use it store the 55" as backup hehe?
I thhnk the one thing that would stop me is that I use the old style headphones 3.5 plugin and this TV doesn't appaer to have that and well I tried bluetooth headphones on my current tv it didnt sound that great but also for some reason spent days trying to get my sound back () still not sure how I did get it back) I think I posted about it when it happened also mentioned it in another post on here a day or two ago

Last night was 3 pumpkin pies and maybe 20 left at that location when I grabbed them. Froze 2 for thanksgiving (we are hosting this year) and dug into one last night. And yeah at $7 can't even make the crust and buy enough filing at that price unless your growing your own pumpkins (and we didn't this year)

My biggest concern with TCL tvs (we have one in our living room, and I have a 43" in the basement that I got as part of a promotion) is their HDR implementation. Ours (is/are) is absolutely horrid at playing HDR content from our set top box as well as prime on the TV itself. Content is so dark that it's pretty much unviewable and TCL doesn't offer the chance to turn HDR off.
