I wasn't disputing patriot knowing the timings of their own RAM, It's just odd that newegg has different timings and in the reviews people are doing even better than those timings- maybe it's different stuff despite the same name.

EDIT: i see now at DC the cl3 (cas latency 3) written in the product name- I guess that's the difference

I'm guessing that is the difference too. The crucial is more $$ but in my opinion from what I have read, is better bang for the buck.
