Well all I can say is I hate leaks.

And I really hate leaks that don't present themselves until after work has been done forcing you to redo things. Again.

All I know is it is coming from the main tub upstairs and at this point it might just be better to rip that damn thing right out, replace the obviously soaked through plywood, and just put in a new tub. Wife doesn't want the jacuzzi jets anyways.

Tub was in the 2030 plan for renos, but well now it is starting to feel forced.

Replace it man. I like the Acritec tubs personally the fiberglass is solid and it has adjustable support legs.

Stay away from the MAXX brand... They chip waaaaay to easy.

Oh boy, it just doesn't stop this year. So the house that Simcoe County owns thats next to me ( I own a semi ) didn't change the gas or hydro over from the last tenants, she called me today to ask who is in the house which I told her no one, I asked whats up, she got a hydro bill for 300 bucks and found out she is still being billed for that house, she calls hydro and they cut the power off at 3 today.

So now I am worried about the pipes since they were using plug in heater to keep the heat on, it really shocking to me how useless a government-run county housing org is, after I called them they told me I had to call back in the mornign which I said well if the pipes freeze it maybe my lawyer and insurance company calling you back ( she says oh, wow really ) yes because you could flood my basement and if you do simcoe wiil be paying for it one way or another. OMG, the end of 2025 has just been so much lately, I haven't slept well in weeks.

It's actually illegal to shut the power off in winter so they are going to get completely fucking steam rolled by your lawyer.

Make sure you don't have anything of value in your basement.
