I think it's more of the fact that he got no pay adjustment for 3 years. His effective wage went down 10% easily. Did Linus even pay people extra to work on his house. I recall he fired a guy moving stuff in his house because he scratched his hardwood floor. Why are you using your employees to work on stuff that aren't business related?

Hopefully you get a decent wage as an employee and by all accounts their wages are 80-100k range which is pretty good imo. Can't speak on the working conditions but it cant be that bad 😂

You completely missed the point. He isnt moaning that his boss has a lot. He is moaning that he isnt being compensated fairly, while his boss is living large. That is completely different and justified. Especially when he was a huge presence on the channels, in videos, and in public.

Linus deserves his succes, but he should also appreciate those who helped get him there. But I gues that's why there has been an exodus lately, because he just doesnt see their value. And to some extent he's right, because they havent really skipped a beat. And the people who are leaving are also right, because they have instantly become relevant and have had a much easier time building their own channels because of their experience and notoriety from being on LTT.

So let's call it a wash.

Yeah maybe hes a shitty boss. Lots of those around. Making a woe is me video is just silly. Welcome to club. You quit and you find a better employer. I dont even know if Jake has any formal education or training. If not hes fortunate to have that opportunity regardless of pay.

He started there at 15. Worked there for 10 years. did you even watch the video? It's not a woe as me piece at all. He's just explaining why he left. And he was gracious for the experience.
 
I dunno... it all seems like drama that really isn't worth my limited time ;) But I suppose as with everything, enquiring minds want to know.

Decades ago when i was Going to Nait 2000-2004 i swear there was a sales Rep that either deliberately styled himself after Rob Schneider or was his love child from an Albertan woman lol he was trying to tell me about a pc and its specs i was young and well i couldn't hold it in i laughed way to hard felt so bad for him trying but i couldn't keep my composure ended up saying sorry man you look way too much like this comedian or dude from hot chick/Animal ><
