As I have been reading in numerous places on this forum and many other forums the price for what gains you can make is just to high.
As for me well my AMD card that was released in Dec 2009 the 5970 2gb is still king of the hill. Maybe next time Nvidea.

Anyhow...wow, just checking out some of the Vantage Bench runs over at Evga, amazing ..highly OC'd CPU with a single 580 pushing P34K....my old 3 x 280's was around P35K...and 2 x 480's P44K....thats some serious HP..
The cooler Temps are an absolute bonus...excellent, will certainly be picking up a couple of these at some point in the future

also, if you look on other sites, clock for clock it matches a gtx 480, it seems?

The problem is I already purchased GTX 480 once, thinking it was it, superclocked, premium price with taxes and everything, sold it immediately because it was pos, lost $100 on resale. Now they are telling me, oops sorry, this is the real Fermi card. It kinda feels weird buying the same card twice, I feel violated, maybe wait till next summer for Kepler.

Look at the dates of the other articles and tell me if any of their predictions are reliable!
I wouldn't trust this site.
