A Very Different RTX 3080 Build!

A lot of you had questions and concerns about the ROG Z11 ITX case so we decided to do a complete build in it to test airflow, thermals and cable management. Even with the massive ASUS RTX 3080 STRIX, 3900XT and B550 motherboard installed, it turned out to be a pretty good overall build...but with some things you need to know about.

Not a HWC thing specifically, but it really irritates me to no end seeing all of these reviews and builds content creators are pushing for products you cant even purchase.

The one LTT did yesterday was informative (Required radiator capacity for a 3090) but yeah I agree.

Reviews are one things, we need that info but ASUS sponsored builds is another. Hey ASUS make less videos and more TUF 3080s

Heh... I thought the Kraken Z63 was silly expensive @ $350.

Part of the silly high pricing is due to the LCD screen.

Yeah it is pretty much due to the LCD and ROG branding plus. It is also a 360 that extra 10% surface area makes the price go higher because reasons. I would still get a Z63 if it was me.

In fairness, an extra fan would be at least $30 retail as opposed to just the 10% surface area. That doesn't cover the $80 difference, but it does bring it down to only $50.

I picked up the X73 for about $250. There is no way that LCD screen is worth that much.
