I am interested in this monitor.
I cannot find the Free Sync range, would anyone one know what it is or where to look? Also what are your general thoughts about this monitor? s It seems to be a reasonably priced IPS 144hz 3440 x 1440 monitor. I think I would need to buy it from BH, however I...
Like Bond mentioned, take out your video card... You will then reveal the m.2 slot. Your idea of under is different than his idea of "under". We are not referring to the Y axis, rather the Z axis... if that helps.
IMO you need a better GPU to run 4k. As you increase your res the potential "bottleneck" of your CPU decreases. First get a better GPU and then consider a newer CPU.
... and his current mobo with latest bios will support it. If OP wants a 5600x he would need a new board. IIRC x570 will not support Ryzen 6000 or whatever is next. That makes buying a new board MUCH less appealing right now.
I own computers with the 3600 and I did own a 5600x. When I tested the games I play at 2560x1440 with a GTX 1080 there was no difference in performance. Based on the results I sold the 5600x. IMO you could get the 3600 and a better GPU. That is about all I would change in your system.
Do you guys think I would be able to sell a 5600x for what I paid?
I bought one while I waited for my 5900x and now I need to either build another system or sell the 5600x.
The other day I got my 5900x. I am too far out it to know how to OC this thing correctly. FYI my mobo is the ASUS x570 TUF Gaming. I will post R23 benchies soon
I have an LG 55" OLED a number of years old. IIRC it is a 5500 series I think. I like. IMHO Deep blacks are more important that bright brights (generally), so OLED is for me.
