    It for sure came from a store within Amazon. Which unless it's shipped by Amazon I would never buy from. It is hilarious to think the pins weren't a dead giveaway. This isn't a new scam though. People were doing it with the 5800x3d etc as well.

    AMD has already sold around 8000 9800x3d so it's unlikely it's a common issue. But I get not loving the idea of the chance your chip/board burns up.

    I have a friend who's a tech journalist and said Tom's screwed up the numbers. There's only been 10 reports. Not nothing but also not 40 lol Could be a socket issue, defective pins.

    While I don't generally use this tech as I'm not a huge fan. It is impressive what they have done. Some titles seem to do better than others. I notice when nvidia shows it off its specific game (s)
