3D Printer / CNC discussion thread

Added another small tool to the collection.

CV-01 Pro is on sale at a reatailer locally. Cheaper through creality directly but they won't ship them to Canada. My original plan was to attach a laser to lowrider however the lasers I was looking at are going to be a whole lot of work printing, mounting, configuring etc to make it work on the low rider, vs a tiny portable ready to go laser that I was already burning things with last night.

it is a baby laser but it will work great for what I have planned (etching, burning etc). Will save me literal hours vs using a hand held wood burning iron.
 
I've decided that my Anycubic Kobra Go is not worth struggling with any more. I came across the Flashforge Adventurer 5M / 5M Pro, anybody heard any feedback on it? It's a Core XY similar to Bambu Labs P1P/P1S and Creality K1C.

Out of your list I think the K1C is the only one out of the box with the hardened metal nozzle and gears for abrasive filaments.

They all kinda went semi-proprietary with some of the parts like nozzles.

ATM doesn't work period.

It was crazy unreliable. 90% of prints failed due to jams in extruder. Even if a print finished when I started the next print it will fail to extrude.

Creality did send me a replacement extruder but the hotend is such terrible design. I got frustrated and haven't touched it in 6 months. Just went back to using the Prusa.
 
The K1C was supposed to fix most of the problems people reported with the K1 non-C...

I did just order one I'll try to sell the Aquila and the modded ender 5... promotion get free 10W laser that I can attach to the CNC

And RepRap warehouse in Edmonton does warranty work on creality
