cap lock key...

I use it from time to time. MOSTLY WHEN I WANT TO YELL AT INTERNET PEOPLE!
 
What are you talking about? I think it's a great strategy. In the past many keyboard manufacturer's have dropped out or relocated the caps lock key to somewhere less convenient. Caps lock is completely useless for most people. Plus it takes up lots of space where there could be something that is used more frequently. For instance, in some keyboards the shift is where the caps lock regularly is and the ctrl is where the shift regularly is.

Great move by google.

cap lock key is often misunderstood... most of people thought it meant to yell or get attention... ;\ that key have many useful and useless features... remember that bad guy abused/exploited the something important or rule...

ok what about "NVIDIA", "RADEON", "GTX"? or someday, company decides to create the long cap word such as "GTADEON RX 960 TITI"... would you type that word with shift hey...? (of course thats why i am too lazy to use hold shift or "press twice" cap lock key)...

polygon, picture at your picture seems not comfortable to type... i suggest you to get real one like this and use it for a week.. come back and tell me about it... ;p
 
ironically, I never use the shift key in my life.. I press the caps lock key in quick succession

The caps lock key doesn't have any use, you're being silly.

I would write is as Gtadeon RX 960 TITI without ever using the caps lock key. It's useless, and the only time anyone uses it is when they hit it by accident, and the type "ops caps"

I suppose it's no worse than a certain other company assuming that you've somehow gone into the BIOS and forced the num/lock on but don't really want to use it.
 
I actually use the caps lock on a semi-regular basis. I use it when I'm entering info on a few of the spreadsheets I use at work. So count me as one person who uses it for work and not just YELLING AT PEOPLE!!!!
