I built this rig a few years ago, using a Thermaltake 900 Supertower... It contained a Z390/i9-9900k setup, and I built a custom 420mm cooling rack using 1 of the leftover side fan mount brackets and a Corsiar H115i Rad, and mounted it over top of the middle HDD enclosure...

I also modded the left side mesh panel to add/house a USB hub with 2x USB-C + 2x USB-A ports so I would not have to get up every time I needed to plug/unplug something, since the rig sat on top of my desk :D

Oh, and BTW, I called it "Big Red One" in honor of the US Army's 1st Armored Division (which I served in), cause this thing is built like a tank !
You realize you should never have the cpu block higher than the resi or rad right?

+1
Having the res below the pump/block in an AIO is a good way to end up with air in the CPU block / pump and result in cavitation and flow failure.

Had this setup for a few years now. Need rebuilt it from scratch around when the NVIDIA 5000 series hopefully launches this fall. Also bonus rack pics.

A rack makes life so much easier if you have the space. I know the data hoarding life. I've got 18 drives varying from 8tb to 16tb in raid 10 on TrueNAS. I got lucky with the rack and got it for free while I was in Vancouver. The server has been there since about 2014 with a recent upgrade to an Epyc with 256gb ram. It really creeps up on you over the years. The only answer is always more. LOL

@Black_Ice-Dragon Exactly my Nas Journey started with a Ryzen 5600x rig with 2 8Tb DRives then this Synology with 8x18tb drives now i need 10x22tb drives as my mistake with Synolgy was JBOD >< so i have to transfer over 58TBs of data wipe the Synolgy create a Raid 5-10 trasnfer it all back setup R-sync then i can be done with the Trunas Build and have multpe backups. but i feel this is just the beginning and thought i should just get a rack so i can populate that as the need keeps growing :ROFLMAO:
