I built this rig a few years ago, using a Thermaltake 900 Supertower... It contained a Z390/i9-9900k setup, and I built a custom 420mm cooling rack using 1 of the leftover side fan mount brackets and a Corsiar H115i Rad, and mounted it over top of the middle HDD enclosure...

I also modded the left side mesh panel to add/house a USB hub with 2x USB-C + 2x USB-A ports so I would not have to get up every time I needed to plug/unplug something, since the rig sat on top of my desk

Oh, and BTW, I called it "Big Red One" in honor of the US Army's 1st Armored Division (which I served in), cause this thing is built like a tank !

I have Le Grand Macho RT, True Spirit 140 Power, 2x FC140, PA120SE, PS120SE, TRUE Black Rev something, TRUE (2007).

Temps are about 2c better than FC140 and PS120SE both with high performance fans. Right now I have 5x TL-C12C-S on it, it’s pretty good. My X3D idles at 25-27, and Linpack loads at about 78-79.

Haven’t run stock fans on coolers for a bit, would have to refresh myself..

Am I reading that correctly that the CPU is using close to 250w? If so, then thats around the same as a 12900k under load. Similar temperatures as well.

I was wonderinmg how you like have an AIO in the Torrent. I was thinking of doing the same but if it's only marginally better, I guess I'd rather stick with my NH-D15s.

Got my 2 new (free) synology rs819's in the rack. Looks pretty clean now.

Debating about getting the orange Thermaltake Tower 100 so can have better cooling on the plex server. Not that it gets hot on a regular basis, but would be nice.

They were going to be recycled, so asked if I could repurpose them. IT manager said as long as I showed proof they were wiped then I could have them.
