TEC makes zero noise. The heatsink is rather quiet too. Even with 1.4V @ 3.8GHz (HT off, because my i7 is absolute garbage), I can have the fan @ 40% and still maintain great temps.

I currently have mine running at 3.8ghz with ht on at 1.4v running prime95 temps are at 77c i'll check my ambient temp after i finish priming it =p

My V10 will 75C prime95 8-threads small fft, 1.4V 3.8GHz. However it won't be anywhere near as loud as the two 45dB monsters you are using. :haha:
It seems I never actually tried 3.8Ghz w/ HT on with the V10. With the TRUE and push/pull Nexus D12SL-12 it wasn't stable, but seems to do alight with the V10.

oh really yeah so far mine is stable with ht on which is good enough for me but yes the fans are hella loud kinda annoying haah but dont have the cash for watercooling so i have to live with it for now haha
