I gave Jayz2cents a try, but something about him was always off putting to me. Not cringey in the way that Linus was, but it always seemed like something wasn't quite right.
While I've never seen it mentioned by anyone before, and I know this isn't what you're referring to, but I'm wondering if anybody else has noticed that Jay is constantly messin' around with his nose on videos, as though he has a hair up there that's bothering him..... it's pretty rare, if ever, that he DOESN'T kind of wipe at his nose, and when he does it too many times in any one video it actually gets kind of annoying. It happens so often that I've been tempted to ask him if he has some sort of medical issue with his nose!
While it's fine to want a business you like to succeed, if they don't deliver a quality product you don't owe them a thing. Too many people get emotionally caught up about media personalities.
Which is, no doubt, how LMG has managed to sell so much merch.
He deserves everything that comes his way.
The community should come down hard.
The amount of clicks filling his bank account demands it.
That part in bold, I think, tells it all. The part that I find annoying, and rather hard to reconcile, is that he spends
THOUSANDS on warehouse space, equipment, and all kinds of stuff to make any particular piece of content, and yet he balks at spending "$100, $200, $300, or maybe $500 for more employees' time" to retest various items to get the correct info into said video(s)...... it makes zero sense!
Techyescity/GN/level one tech, are my first choice for youtube tech channels then LMG for techmertainment but I haven't looked at their reviews in years, besides their AMD 7000 series, their numbers were so different than everyone else's it made me think wtf are they doing with this so-called LMG-LABS when they can[t even get a launch review correct.
Well I don't know what their normal numbers for videos are but the show Riley hosts had 40,000 views by today so I don't think it's affecting them much which is really sad cause they will not fix anything till it hurts their bottom line
Seems like Linus is almost doing the same thing NCIX did, i.e. got too big, too fast, at which point the quality suffers, and eventually bites ya in the ass..... his self-imposed schedule of putting out X number of videos per week, has obviously filled his wallet, but has clearly resulted in a detrimental effect on the video content. It seems like LMG needs a team of people whose only job is to act like newspaper copy editors, and review all the material before it gets uploaded.
