Hello All

Well, the cheaper option for you would be to buy the 2nd 560Ti, and to be honest, it's still a very good solution. SLI 560's are still a great combo.

The better option might be the 670, though. While overall it would be less powerful than 2x 560's, it offers overall better benefits. Less power consumption, less heat output, less noise, more compatibility with games, less chances of microstuttering.

So, while I am still a proponent of SLI configs (and run one myself) I still recognize that the single card solution is usually better in most circumstances.

Look at it this way. If you want to upgrade right now, and can only afford to buy another 560Ti, go that route...it's not a bad solution. If you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks and saving a little more money for a 670, then selling your existing 560Ti, then that may be your best option.

Thank you for your input,
I think I may just wait a few weeks and step up to the 670 series, I do like my hawk card, but now playing higher end games(and being in school to become a video game designer) I would need a much bigger card...
I really appreciate your hindsite

^^ Exactly what he said :thumb:

And just bearin mind, running on that 60" TV is still only 1080, no difference in GPU requirements whether its your 60" TV @ 1080 or a 23" Monitor @ 1080.

Holy crap you planning on powering a small city? 1100w psu for that system LOL!

Lol, Well it was a VERY good deal at the time, when I bought my case it came with a coupon for the power supply for an addition $129.....
In a perfect world who would turn down 1100w power supply for $129 shipped to your door? lol

And as for the video card situation, I think I am going to hold off and buy the 6xx video card when the money regenerates a lil more lol
