Howdy everyone! Been about ten years since I've posted or built a computer. Here's my new purchased parts list. Let me know what y'all think.

you use the media creation tool. you either use it to burn an ISO onto disc or make a bootable flash drive installer.
@misterlarry I’d recommend the USB flash drive option of what Marzipan mentioned. That works really well in modern systems these days. If you have a new drive that isn’t yet bootable where you play to install Windows, the BIOS will likely pick the USB drive automatically and off you go. In a recent build I didn’t even have to mess with the boot order. It all happened automagically. Pretty slick.

make sure you're using a USB 3.0 or newer flash drive though! creating the bootable drive and then using it to install is so painfully slow and you commented on your advanced age earlier ;)

Okay, I'm off work for 6 days starting now (normally 7 but I'm covering and extra shift next week). I believe I have all Software & BIOS Firmware DL'd to USB 3.0 sticks. CPU, 64GB Ram, & 2 TB SSD are installed. GPU supposed to show up on Canada Day, YEAH!

Should be able to POST the build & install Windows, before for installing the GPU, shouldn't I? Other than final testing, program installation/migration, etc.

Anyways, enough for tonight. Now it's Old Fashion Time.

I really appreciate everyone's input the cost of my build has increased by $4 because I dropped the Windows Home Retail & 32 GB Ram for Win Pro Key & 64 GB of Corsair Vengeance @ CL30 instead of 28.
