Let's go Team !!

As we approach the new year , and enter the colder part's of it , I'd like to generate some more interest in folding for our team.

I'm not sure what you guys think , I'd like to see some older folders back , and some new people join.

What can we do to facilitate this ?

So is 2P/4P folding no longer really a thing? I remember they cancelled bigadv last January. However i thought it ended up getting extended. Google hasn't really giving me much info though.
 
It's still a thing, just not a good thing. After bigadv got nerfed, MP systems have been easily outproduced by GPUs, and when you look at it from either a PPD/$ or PPD/watt perspective, it becomes very difficult to rationalize folding with CPUs anymore outside of nostalgia.
 
So I updated my Nvidia drivers yesterday. Now I am having issues w/ core 18 WUs. After a while the GPU will peg @ 99% usage and in FAHControl the progress bar goes up, but if you go in to the log it isn't actually progressing. I have to quit folding@home then relaunch. Sometimes I have to do this 4-5x per work unit for it to finish. Anyone have a similar issue?

Currently happening w/ a 9152.

EDIT: If I try to play a video while it is folding it starts to happen. Even I quit watching the video it stays pegged @ 99% GPU usage until I relaunch folding@home.

I currently have only one 9152 WU running on my GPU's and everything is normal. But the card who run's the 9152 WU isn't at the latest driver version though
 
Am I correct in assuming that special switches are no longer required/beneficial WRT PPD?

Currently have a 9213 on my 970 with a TPF of around 8.5 minutes..... I see they haven't done anything over the last few years to target unit PPD to within their stated 10% +/- of average PPD. This one's closer to 25% lower than I've been getting with most other WUs, and it's a stupidly long one.
