Tracking from Dazmode... ;)

Everybody's favorite screen. (Especially when it's a day earlier than the initial estimate :) )

Drain-Loop.jpg

Something I've never thought about when grabbing a case to build a loop in was how easy the case would sit in different orientations to allow for draining of the loop at the lowest point.

Once the panels are removed, this case is flat on all sides.

Yeah me too! I guess the rad in the bottom is a challenge for draining right side up!

Is it actually draining out through the CPU block somehow, or is it just the two CPU block tubes hanging in the bucket?

Oh and you should get off the Becel and back to real butter; better for you :bleh:

Yes, and once a tube is clear of fluid I can remove the fitting and install a stopper. That way I can remove parts of a loop and rebuild without having to completely uninstall it. (The pump, and res are now completely removed from Ver. 2.0 ).

Daz's package did indeed arrive today.... :bananafunky:

Universal mounts might not be the sexiest part of a loop, but I strongly suspect it's going to make my life a hell of a lot easier when it comes to installing loops. (Much like the reason I preferred bay reservoirs for so long).

Ended up with the same res that Lysrin bought. Love the way EK packages stuff... always feels like it's a quality product. I'm curious why you needed to purchase a fill cap Lysrin... there's one included with the hardware?

Added benefit to grabbing this top is that I'll no longer have to look up inlet/outlet for my D5 pump(s)... :)

Very nice! I'm waiting on a Daz package now. He makes every shipment feel like Christmas. :) You'll enjoy that mount. I'm at the point now where I've tried almost every mounting bracket in this universe, and EKs are pretty decent.

Now that I'm looking at it... the plug that ships with the res is flush to the top of the res, and I suspect he needed one of the raised-with-knurled-edges versions so that he could get it on and off in the tight space he had.
