Chocolatey looks to be basically the equivalent of a linux package manager for windows. I use brew/cask a lot on mac but I didn't realize there was a very promising looking windows alternative. While I really do like ninite and what it provides it's packages are limited and chocolatey appears to have a lot more content.



Edit: Looks like it has been around for years but not something I recall ever coming across

Chocolatey has been around for quite a while, I am pretty sure several people here use it, I haven't needed it Ninite does what I need, there are several useful tools in this video so I call it a good watch
