In all honesty.... if you can fit an aftermarket cooler into your budget (the 212+ would be my suggestion as well), I'd strongly recommend it.

Could be I got a couple of chips from a hot batch, but the stock cooler doesn't do a very good job (in spite of looking fairly beefy) even at stock settings. It keeps the chip under suggested max temps under load, but only barely.

hmmm, well I'll definetly look into the CM 212+ then.

But this K62 case has amazing airflow so depending on the temps I might pick one up seeing as they're only about 25$

So I have an update and here it is:

Got it from memoryexpress in calgary for $24.20 after pricematching it from bestdirect.ca

Me: I have a pricematch for this cooler
Sales rep: Sure let me just get the manager for this
Manager: *Sigh* $24.20?!?! where do they get these prices
Me: No comment.... and trying really hard not to laugh

(Memory express had it priced at 35$)

BTW my motherboard is currently in canada customs, does anyone know how long it takes them to "review my package"

I was kinda hoping it would just quickly processed through today :dots:

Nice build it looks like it's going to be kick ass for sure. Since you were going with a blue theme, the blue ripjaws would have been cool.

Well if your item is coming from California it should take 7 business days.

All my packages from newegg comes to my door step on the 9th day :blarg:

And i live 300KM east of Calgary :sad:

Meh, the blue stuff was 24$ more expensive with slightly better timings, I'm sure it will look fine.

it probably wont happen, but I have had mine held for close to two months before and I have heard of quite a few others getting jipped like this as well. however it is generally only a few days.

Update
Oh yeeeeeeeeeeeeah

Its running good...
But I really wanna overclock it yet I have ZERO experience.
First thing is my ram is only running at 1333mhz (should be 1600?).
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
