New case causing major problems (Fixed)

No, but I have a friend that should. Either is cheaper than the GPU or CPU I guess. May just be the excuse I need to move to this DDR3 thing I hear the kids talking about these days.

Thanks everyone for the hand. Much appreciated.

I have, and it worked previously but I doubt it will now. I have a couple of tests left before anything goes to the recyclers though.

id rip the computer apart my self and run the mobo by it self with a 2 meg pci video card.
as well id only power it up with one strip of ram and the psu and see what happens, then take it from their but that's just me.

comes in handy for tech work at times, $5 used

check for shorts under the mobo and lose metal junk bouncing around in the case.

Ok, the problem is officially fixed. I took the board out of the case one more time to triple check if it would boot, and it did no problem. Went back into the case and took a look around and found that a spacer for a different size motherboard was pushing against the bottom of the board, once removed everything worked. Good old user error. That said, it would have been nice if there was some form of installation instructions with the case.

Anyway, thank you all for the hand, it was much appreciated and a huge help.

Ya bin their done that,cheers.
fried a mobo on that topic once as well, sometimes they mobos don't sit the right way in the case and or a lose screw gets stuck in their behind the mobo.
