I also think sticking with a 6800XT makes it more justifiable upgrading in two or three years. I'd like to think with competition as it is there'll be some Leaps and Bounds with GPU specs!
I also think you made the right call based on the info you gave. It is a substantial increase in cost for a fairly small gain going to the 6900XT. If you think the 6800XT is enough GPU for you for now, you would be better off using the money towards an earlier upgrade when then time comes (IMO).Just wondering out loud if I did myself a disservice by turning down a Sapphire Nitro + 6900XT!....?
I'm going to stick out waiting for an Aorus 6800XT Master. That's $400 savings I could use elsewhere I guess.....yep
