GPU's usually come as a box in a box...the inside box doesn't say what is inside.

Ordered a 1080 Ti from Amazon, But I got a 1070 Ti

Which basically means, in haste to get to the goodness inside the package, he ignored the outside box until he opened the generic brown cardboard inside box, and discovered the wrong item, and THEN looked at the outside product box, which clearly stated 1070Ti.... I assume that's what was meant?

No Friendly.... you mentioned something about "a box in a box", so I was asking if THAT'S what you were talking about.... seems kinda hard to miss "1070 Ti" on the outer box(IF my previous scenario is what you were referring to), unless he was in a rush to get at the card itself....
