Rants etc.....

Ya gotta give him a 1/2 at least, he picked up and moved 3 provinces closer to paradise. Why he stopped in Alberta instead of coming the rest of the way to BC I'll never figure out.

And don't forget to check the lug nuts are still tight after driving a few km.

Because of family and stuff. Free housing for 3 months was goooood :haha:

I torqued them down after a bit of driving. Kinda paranoid it was gonna roll off on me, especially since it's a compact spare and makes the car all lopsided and shit.

Bah, Shaving doesn't count towards being a real man anymore unless you use the straight razor. I earned my chin scars dammit!

I can't use a multiblade razor anymore. The way it cuts my hair it makes me get red bumps all over the place. Straight razor keeps my face relatively bump free, although in their place are little cuts here and there.

THAT is a HUGE plus in my book. Government doesn't earn a penny of what they steal in "duty". It's not sold in canada, It's not anything they've done ANYTHING to warrant the stolen money. Hence the US address.

Lesson learned I guess, Might as well order another Impact Block to my US address since they're not planning to give me my gear this time around.

My Waterblock showed up today, With another $20 that the government stole on it for whatever reason, I'd love to see what the break down on that is. Best part, They didn't even bother to put the water block back in its box, they put the box in the shipping box and tossed the waterblock on top of it. Useless *****

I have the same problem but discovered that if I shave in the opposite direction fiist then this doesn't happen

Ordered a bunch of parts from Dazmode a couple months ago. I finally get around to building...and my ek fc bridge is NOT the csq type I ordered. I was thinking about just going with it, but the instructions say that I need the csq bridge to go with the csq block. The RMA terms and conditions say "within 30 days" and unopened. Even if I get it accepted, it might not even be worth my time because it'll cost me roughly half the cost of a bridge to ship it back....

I picked up the plated, buffalo horn handle Dovo Bergischer Lowe a while back.

It's really nice but I'm finding the hooked beak of it gives me too many nicks compared to my old rounded regular Dovo. I've actually switched back to a fusion for a little bit as my old Dovo has dulled and I need to properly sharpen it.

Shaving with the grain definitely helps, the other steps I've found that make a huge difference are shaving in or right after the shower.
Using a pre-shave oil and a thick lather applied with a badger brush.
Using a facial scrub after shaving.

Now with either a straight or a safety razor, I get practically no bumps or razor burn. Takes a few more minutes but definitely worth is.
