I bought an Otterbox Defender because I was cheap and it was much better priced than the Lifeproof Fre...but it's so bulky in comparison (bought my wife a Fre for her 6 Plus) I regret not doing it.

just bought an Otterbox Defender for her iPad though, as she wants something big and bulky and tough now that she's exercising downstairs where the floor is cement. h34r:

My current Xiaomi Mi Max is absolute terrible shape and I only have had it a year. Glass is cracked so badly, screen has hot spots from the cracked glass, back casing bent, and every time i drop it the whole phone falls apart. I've used the clear TPU case it came with and all of the screen protectors I tried fit terribly.

I have ordered new parts for fix it all, and hopefully the screen protector I ordered fits this time around.

The problem with Chinese phones, is you can only use Chinese cases, and screen protectors.

If you do decide to use it, don't forget the setting that overrides account passwords on each reboot. Makes it pretty much run and forget.

Welp, that doesn't work on domain joined devices, even using the local admin account. :sad: Been a rough while of logging in to continue.

Heh... spigen only offers me the nano liquid that I've already got...

My understanding is that this phone has a slightly curved screen which makes finding a screen cover for it problematic.

I'm still using the clear bumper case that came with it, and have a solid colour one I ordered from amazon. It just irks me that these bloody things are so awesomely slim and comfortable, but the default is to throw a bloody condom on them........

omg mri 2 months away and surgery is booked for 6+ months I get that I am stable but come on. If I lose any more weight then I am hospital bound for a very long time oh well sometimes life sucks so make lemon aid just needed to vent lol

I gop to work last night at the site I am working at a site which they are/were switching over to the management. I talk to the New GM of this company also the new Head boss that flew up from the US about things it was all cool then 5 minutes after they both leave an underling of the GM comes out to my truck ( I do security at the gate there) and tells me that I am not working today because of the new management company has taken over, I go through the whole process of trying to explain to this Woman that yes we have the new contract she tells me no we don't , I them call all of the Admin Numbers I have for this stupid Security company I work for and cannot get through to anyone, Finally I get a hold of the New Mobile guy ( only work 4 days ) ask him for the number of the Owner he refuses to give it to me after another huge explanation to this Mobile guard that I am pretty sure is ESL and probably barely passed it , gives me the number of the Owner, I text message the Owner get a reply saying yes we have the new contract , which I already knew becasue I was actually the person that had talked to the GM of the new management at this site and they renewed.

I go back into the building talk to the woman again and she still says that we Don't. I then re explain slowly that we do because I actually talked to the GM and his boss. she has a slight hissy fit saying that the site doesn't need a guard at the gate then proceeds to send off multiple texts to whom ever, while this was going on out of the corner of my eye I see on one of the monitors a person with a bike fly onto the lot. I walk away to see who it is and the woman tells me not to walk away from her, I ignore her and caught a street person riding around told him to please leave , the guy leaves with out incident I then turn around and ask the woman does she still think that no guard is needed at t he site.
I am really considering taking the New Job at the Movie studio the pay is slightly better of course I am going to see if I like it I do a couple days training at the end of the week. I am hoping that it isn't static becasue if it is my Spine wont be able standing around 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. I can do set ups like concert set ups long hours but I am messed up the next day .

I run my phone naked and buy accidental warranty on it. If I break it, it gets replaced.

I refuse to take a beautiful device and then throw it in an ugly case.

Today I get an email asking for my consent for a back ground check through a company called esurvey that does the back ground checks , I start filling out the information I get to the very end and read the agreement consent it says that if I agree I consent for them to send my personal information to the US UK Philippians India . I am wondering why anyone would consent for a company to send out there personal info to other country's that have different law than Canada also I am not applying for a High security like Police Military or Government Job . I am applying for a low pay job that more them likely would be sitting at a gate of a parking lot and checking name tags and names on a list to let in or prevent people from being let into a bloody parking lot of a Movie studio.
I don't have a problem doing a full back ground Criminal record check if my information stays in Canada but come on this is stupid its for a simple low pay Job.
