Blackouts and PPV are the lamest things for Canadian hockey fans. Like really, we practically subsidize the entire nhl and we get this treatment?
bah!
+100 :angry2:
I really think they should make "The Monster" their #1. He has sh!tloads of potential...which is starting to show. More importantly..he has the heart of a champion; he swims and makes snow-angels to
save that puck no matter what; he makes himself big(bigger than he already is :haha: ), comes out and challenges.....Toskala doesn't. Toskala needs the humiliation that White, Blake et.al got when they were "benched" a few seasons ago...and made to watch from the press boxes. That worked with them, no doubt. Let's face it..at their current level, the best Toronto can muster is point.. and guess who blows in OT/shoot-outs..............
TOSKALA...always has, always will! The guys play visually more confidently with Jonas between the pipes... let them ride that confidence for more than 2 or 3 games and build on it. They have a great game with "Gus" backing them, then the next game..they have to skate onto that ice knowing that Vesa's there. Now..."i guess we better play more conservatively, cause any turnovers are very likely to go in". Let them play with the confidence of a great "safety-net(Jonas)"..and build that into
a style...not just a night-to-night choice depending on goal-tender. Beauchemin needs major work..his f'ups still lead to the majority of their GA. Wallim needs to pick it up too. Stempniak, Grabovsky, Mitchell, (of course)Kaberle and White, Stajan and
finally..Kulemin are in the very good to excellent category. Poni's as dependable as ever :thumb:. /mega-rant. :bleh:
