Does anyone know of a Canadian retailer who has either the D-TEK FuZion in stock or the Swiftech Apogee GTX's copper housing? I'm putting together a WC kit to cool off my fireball 9450(1.16v @ 400FSB = 50°C on idle 62°C load w/ Ultima 90 + Nocuta P12). Needless to say its time to step backinto the wonderful world of WC'ing...and I though I had kicked the habit ;)

Anyways here is what I thinking as a simple little loop:
Fuzion or GTX w/copper top CPU block
mcp655 (though I might drop down to a Dtek DB1 for lower noise)
MCR220 dual rad w/ res built in
rad box
tygon 1/2 ID tubing
d-tel High flow g1/4 barbs
fesser one non conductive coolant (might drop this)
4 Noctua p12s in push pull config.
and enough steel worm hose clamps

I've gotten everything else sourced w/ ncix but that darn Dtek! HELP!:bleh:

I would love to go triple rad (or heck a double thermochill ) but the case is a CM690 and dual swiftech rad is about as big as i can go. As for the yate loons...to noisy (used them in the past) and the Noctua NF-P12s are quiet and have kick ass static pressure.

Thanks for the link, but I tried there already and they are "not available" right now. I'll keep an eye DC but am not too hopeful. Dteks seem to be getting hard to find :(

WARNING: Aluminum+Copper=Corrosion

I too would upgrade to a MCR320, and get a separate reservoir which in turn would improve liquid flow. Also let me tell you this, Noctuas are not necessary instead settle for some Scythe S-Flex's. The Scythe's perform on par, are cheaper by about $7 bucks per fan(7x3fans=$21), and also look MUCH better.

EDIT: NVM about the MCR320...

I use Scythe's all the time (especially in my reviews) and Scythe Fs are extremely loud when compared to Noctua's; worse they are not as good when it comes to static pressure. Minor Price dif not much of a concern, noise levels number 1 concern (after lower temps). I'll probably upgrade the case and the rad to a thermochill + p182 later, right now short term not too worried about corrosion.

I emailed Linus @ NCIX and he said he should be getting some Fusions in the next week or so. As for the copper top for the GTX, it would be special order, a couple weeks at best.

Sweet! Thanks Cptn Vortex. I hate settling for 2nd best if I don't need to ;)

Yeah I know. Thinking of upgrading to the Fusion, just for the heck of it. However I now see the XSPC Delta block, and it looks darn Nice. I might see if I can get my hands one one....
