Whats your latest purchase?

All the working out must have paid off, because solo'ing this thing was too bad at all haha.

That being said I'm sure if I tried it on a 36" I'd cripple myself. Might keep any eye open for one as I think that's the biggest size they got before they started making them automatically upscale, but I'm not 100% sure. IIRC the Trinitrons larger than that all had HD inputs and couldn't output 240p natively and upscaled but I might be wrong.
Need to track one of these down :) almost need a crane to get it into the house. ( The video is actually an interesting watch)

43in CRT ... ~400lbs for the TV almost another 200lbs for the stand

I watched that a while back. Definitely interesting, but 43" for a CRT is wayyyy to much work. If I like the 27" enough I might consider 36-40, but even a 40" I've basically got to build a sled to get it up the stairs.

Not that there'd ever be one for a reasonable price in Edmonton haha. Lots of resellers and people asking stupid prices. Someone had listed an 36" Panasonic Tau for $1000 and recently price dropped it to $500 lol.

I was involved with the program in moncton for getting Syrian Refugees settled back in the day.... we had a donation warehouse for things like furniture and household goods..... seemed like every person in new brunswick took that as a chance to move their ridiculously large CRT TVs out of the basement/storage.

I was also involved in helping to move those families into their new accommodations..... every one of which seemed to be on the 3rd or 4th floor so getting the aforementioned massive CRT TVs into their new digs was quite a pain!!! :)

Well just signed paperwork on replacement vehicle. Found a 2017 Q50 Premium with lower KM for the age. It has some problems to be addressed before I get to pick it up but overall in pretty decent condition. So probably won't see it for a week or two but now I can stop hunting.

Weird thing happened while looking at it... Has decent winter tires on it but no summer tires. However the summer tires from my wrecked outlander are the right size and bolt pattern. So now I don't need to buy summer tires or rims.

Nice find

Had ordered a 2nd Lodge cast iron pan a few weeks ago. But it was 'damaged' during shipping. I ordered another 'mint' one and it was cracked.

So CT has a 20% points redemption today so grabbed a Lodge griddle.

It is so damn warped. 2mm high on the axis that wobbles.

Not having a lot of luck so far.
