No, there was a distinct lack of interest, so he shut it down. There were only about 40 members, and out of that number, there was only a handful of us that posted anything. It got to be little more than a place to post links to YouTube tech videos that featured former NCIX Tech Tips hosts(LTT, TechLinked, & MCS).


It basically died cuz Friendly decided to spam these forums instead of over there! :bleh: :haha:

Frankly any interesting content I had to offer a forum I put into xncix and now I can't access any of it. I don't even remember what minor game keys I had to offer. Is there a way to access the postings I made so I can re-try them here somehow?
 
No NArk, it appears that the site is gone. TheAnswer had it up for a couple of days, with a short message about closing it down, and I was still able to log in, but now it's completely gone..... :sad:
 
Are there records of NCIX transactions anywhere anymore? I guess the data breach has them all :) but I'd like a new, legible copy of a receipt from a BenQ monitor I bought there 2years ago because its still under warranty and I think I need to make a claim.
I have the original but it's very faded, never really was very clearly printed, and I could get the credit card statement I suppose.

I used to have all of my invoices emailed to me... I doubt very much that there's any way to retrieve NCIX invoices at this point.
 
If you scan the one you have, you might be able to adjust the brightness/contrast on it to make it a bit more legible. I did that with one for EVGA a while back, the receipt must of been by something hot at some point since it was mostly black. I did my best to edit it to make it legible and EVGA accepted it.

I would hope BenQ would have some leeway, especially knowing that the company is defunct now.
