I'm there now for iPhone... and it still makes me feel a little dirty lol I know why they are able to do "it just works" and I don't like how they restrict and charge devs for apps, but like you having a device that just works day in and day out with minimal issues is valuable to me.As I grow older and I start valuing my time more and more - I started to appreciate Apple more. Not just because I can afford it - but because things tend to work and last longer.
I am a geek and I have a ton of hardware, I have switched to Apple in the past two years since their M-series CPUs. I have no regrets, I am genuinely impressed.
I still run a linux workstation, but for mobile and on the go - that's Apple for me.
Back in the days when I tinkered and swapped ROMs and the like, I was the poster boy for Android. But to me that just isn't worth doing any more with my hobby time.
