I am torn between repairing my chair (duct tape isn't holding the one wheel in place any more) and upgrading to a nicer chair.... For the Aeron chairs, what size do people have? Sizes B and C seem awfully similar.
They are not. We have both B's and C's in my office. If you're over 6' tall you'll probably find the C more comfortable, the back is significantly taller and the seat is probably 2" or so wider. I just used to adjust the arms in to a comfortable spot for me.
One caution about Aerons, if you like to perch on the front edge of your chair regularly you will break the seat. They have a weak spot just forward of the attachment bolts on the side, and it will probably break eventually even with regular use. My 250 lb boss cracked mine using my computer while I was on holidays.
If you are looking at a used one and don't know what size it is, run your fingers between the mesh and the frame at the top rear of the back. A is 1 bump, B is 2 and C is 3 bumps. Handy to know if you are looking for spare parts too.
