Hello all, I have a quick question, and I know this will be flamed a bit and biased as well, but I can usually manage to root through and find the answers best suited for me..
first off, yes this is my first post, lol.
I have a Msi gtx 560 ti hawk card, Msi board, amd fx6100 chip, ssd,1100power supply,
Now If I could find a 2nd card would I be best off to find and run sli of a 2nd card, Or would I benefit for upgrading? I am def. liking the titan's traits and all the good things said about this card so far. the money is not a major issue, just performance, I love my Msi twin frozer card to death...and I know my psu, and board can handle a 2nd without a problem.

Well, if you can even find a second 560Ti, you may just be better off getting a single 670. You'd see a HUGE increase..

It all depends on:
1. Resolution (1080 being the most common requires less GPU Horse power)
2. Expectations n games (do you play latest DX11 Titles and want all the whistles n bells enabed)
3. Budget
4. Speed of CPU ( High end GPU's will benefit most paired with a solid OC'd CPU)

At this point I would be reluctant picking up a 2nd 560ti (unless $$ is extremely tight). In a few weeks time (mid May to 3rd week) look for new release GTX 7xxx Series Cards. Also, look for folks selling "slightly used" GTX 6xxx Series Cards at very good prices.

wow, thanks for the quick responses guys(or gals), I dunno if cost is really an issue, lol...
as for my gaming needs, 1080p for right now, and direct x games yes, Lately Farcry3, and crysis 3...

So the 6 series cards are that good....Thank you for the heads up, and I will start looking

Yes, the 6xx cards are that good. Look for a 660Ti or a 670 that you can run in single card config. You should be able to run max settings at 1080P no problem.

Yes, they should SLI together. The higher clocked card will downclock to the speed of the lower clocked card. But they should work together.

Now would I be beneficial to get a 2nd card(its super cheap and local) also a MSI product :thumb: , I like to keep the same brands as much as I can,

Or should I just try to sell mine off and step up to the 6xx series cards?

money sorta sucks this week as I just bought a tv yesterday on a whim/boredom
