discussion Max Payne: The movie

Saw it last night, I thought it was a good adaptaion of a video game. What I really enjoyed was the fps feel they gave it, the settings and lighting were all very fps like, and well done. Marky Mark even walks and limps exactly like max did. Roscoe street subway station and Ragnarok nightclub, were all there.

Worth it if you were a fan of the game.

I also thought that it was a pretty good movie although the story line seemed different from what I remember from the game I played a few years back but it was good

Yea...I'm a huge film buff but meh this one wasn't bad. Never played the video games, not really a big fan of Marky Mark but it wasn't bad. It was entertaining...didn't leave you with a sense of awe or anything, but it was decent for sure.

Just watched it on my laptop last night. Good flick, but "bullet time" just wasn't the same for me as it was in the game imho.

I liked Hitman

But not as much as Max Payne.

But neither of those movies have anything on Spawn.

Mila Kunis needs to go back to Family Guy and just accept that being Meg is as good as it gets for her or take on roles where she speaks another language for the entire movie. All I kept thinking everytime she spoke was "shutup Jackie"

Marky mark played a pretty good role if they focused more around Max Payne as character the movie could of had a lot more depth, the plot really needed to be developed more I just didn't feel the sences were very well connected throughout the movie.

Hitman was better, I actually liked that movie.
