NVIDIA GTX 780 Ti Review Comment Thread

That's not what he's referring to. MemEx is indeed NOT on NVIDIA's list of participating retailers for their Holiday Game Bundle.

Your back already ^^^^^....please re-read my post before engaging your brain and keyboard, did I say they are a scab retailer? NO!!! I said I would be wary of ordering the Cards from them until I had valid conformation that the 3 game bundled deal is valid with them as retailers as they're not listed on the nv retailors web site nor do they advertise the 3 game bundle on there product page.......ggeeeeezzzzz!!!

EDIT: ...thanks Sky!

Bottomline is if I'm diving into purchasing a couple of these Cards I certainly want the $150 worth of games

I see but is that not an nvidia program ? Email nvidia for the game product key's I presume. Also the game product keys might be included in the retail packaging that the GPU comes in. That what I got when I purchased my GTX 275 in the retail box was a card with a scratch code for just Cause 2 and 3D Mark.

^^^ No these kinds of promotions do not include the game keys inside the GPU Box, there sent as a simple "Card" with a Key Code....or emailed.

"Memory Express isnt on the list of "Approved Retailers" listed on nvidia site, so I certainly would be suspicious of this..."

Ouch no need to be so harsh I just replied to what you posted man. You did not mention anything about game bundles in that post I replied to so it made it sound like you were insinuating Mem Express where kinda scabby. I would Email nvidia before buying the cards to see if nvidia will honor the game bundles. That said I believe they will if you ask nicely.

Just checked nv again and they have added a few Retailers to there list...including Memory Express and Canada Computers...scroll right to the bottom...now I would lie to see those retailers advertise the gaming bundle on there products page please!!

You know, I hate BS promos like this Nvidia game bundle. Why do I hate it? Because of the authorized places you have to purchase it. I mean I want to get one, hell was even thinking about two of them, but because I would be getting them through the store at work if I do, I would not qualify for the games. To me this is just a giant load. I mean $1500 of video cards and I would not be able to get the 3 games, just because I bought them somewhere else.

Seriously a major piss off. I guess I might not get them now. And no the free games are not the reason to get them, but they help a person swallow the cost more.

Edit: Hmm, should have put that in the rant section.:angry2:

They really should be just including the steam codes on a card in the retail boxes not having it be a retailer thing.

when i bought my msi laptop ,metro last light just came on a card in the retail laptop box no muss no fuss and i activated it in like 5 min onto my steam acct and started downloading/installing.

Nothings worse than having to spend your time chasing down e-mails and codes and hoping the retailer doesn't mess around with you and just gives you the codes promised.

If they are going to promote they should just have codes in box you can access on their website that allows you to unlock what ever promo games they are offering that month or what ever.

Then it doesn't mater where you buy your nvidia card from just so long as you buy one either way nvidia makes a sale right?

just silly to over complicate things like this.
