feel ya. got slammed by the flu Friday night...laid out for Sat, Sun and most of Mon. today I was stircrazy so didn't stay in bed and now I'm absolutely wiped. :(

I had been in Thailand for a couple years and built up a pretty good tolerance to anything spicy. Came back to Canada and was in New Brunswick for a while before coming back to Alberta.

One of my class mates while there challenged me to a hot pepper eating contest, his mom had just bought a variety from a farmers market or something like that. He took a nibble of what was labeled as level 6 pepper by the guy who sold them and started to cry and have heat sweats I started eating those peppers like chips even grabbed hotter one and did the same for a landslide victory.

Went back to class after lunch break was over and in the middle of a lecture I had an itch by my eye scratched my eye ... basically screamed in pain with the burning feeling in my eye and managed to touch my other eye. Basically had to get someone to guide me to the washroom since I couldn't see. I had washed my hands after lunch but I was still eating the peppers in class they were quite tasty actually.

So as much of a tolerance I had built up eyeballs remained very vulnerable...

Got it from my work trip I'm pretty sure (I'm back now). I was going to try and get back there around the 15th this month to catch the Van Dusen cherry blossom festival, but it's just too tight a timeline.

Yeah, I got that. I just meant you might be building up some more immunity so you'll be good for your upcoming fun trip you booked :) That's coming relatively soon I thought.
 
for the last 4 months tryin t ospeak wit hsomeoen about a raise and not one reply or when I call I get the theya re abusy but will call you back BS so now I am searchign for new work maybe at the place of my current security posting the pay almost double that of which I am currently being paid

Ahhhh gotcha. My bad. I'm surprised you remembered (y)

It's June for Vegas. My brother and his spouse might come which will be a lot of fun if they do.
