No you don't. Humans have interfered with the environment where we've helped create the conditions where Fire now initiates it's own weather. We had to make up new words like Firestorms, Fireweather & Pyrocumulus to describe events that have never happened before.

Read the book, Fire Weather: The Making of a Beast, by John Vaillant, the story of the 2016 Fort McMurray wild fire. Houses completely burned to nothing in 5 minutes or less. Partly due to the fast moving fire; partly due to houses too close together; partly due to modern materials like vinyl siding, resin impregnated wood sheathing, asphalt roofing, etc.

Rewatching old Top Gear and I'm constantly reminded how much I despise JC. The POS probably single-handedly set back green initiatives by years... and what a massive sexist loser. Water? "Women drink this stuff", Salad? "Women eat this.", etc etc. Some celebrities I'd be happy to shake their hands, but this guy I'd slap right across the face, in public, and it would make me smile.

I love Jeremy Clarkson. Poo poo on you. LOL

His farming show is awesome.
 
Clarkson is a skilled entertainer, but a fairly shitty human being, puffed up on his own importance and not nearly as clever as he thinks he is despite playing the rube as often as not.

I enjoyed a number of TG segments and some of the GT excursions as well as Clarksons' farm, but it doesn't erase the fact he's a well known asshole. It's entirely possible for someone to be skilled and a jerk at the same time.
 
I don't think even a "funny" person gets a getoutofjail free card. On top of being sexist he's also a known racist, and he really, REALLY, should not get anyone's business. He will never get a penny from me.

The sad side story here is how his disgusting writing corrupted Hammand and May in the early seasons. JC wrote everything in the early seasons and seeing one of the other two parroting his sexist garbage was awkward as hell. Luckily his trash lines werent used forever.
 
my rant for today is finding a bunch of rotten wood underneath my sink cabinet so instead of taking at most 1-2 hours for my new faucet to be installed it took me 5 hrs cause of all the damn work I had to do to cut out and fix the wood.

Yes, he was so bad to them thay they will follow him to the end of the earth. And it's funny that you didnt care for his early writing as he practically single handedly resurrected that show. I understand that he's an aquired taste and he may not be for everyone, but I personally really like him.

To be blunt, anyone could've made a comedy -centric car show and been successful - TG just got to it early.

And Hammond and May both owe their fame to the trash. You don't bite the hand that feeds.

But just you wait, someday all the hidden secrets will be exposed - abused or harassed women on top of what we already know of JC literally punching coworkers. Hush money doesn't last forever.
