If you're in the business of providing online content (courses) shouldn't the only thing secondary to the quality of your content be the quality of your provider? If you're putting out video as a service it shouldn't take 30 seconds or so for each segment to load.

Oh.... and flash video has got to die!!!!!! Bad enough it takes so long to load the content, if I leave my browser @ default settings I have to approve every bloody segment. :(

Double GRRRRRRRRR...........

I changed some settings in Chrome to allow the vids to autoplay, but now the freaking setting won't turn back on and I can't figure out how to prevent the bloody autoplay videos from playing! (Prior to mucking about with the settings I'd get a placeholder asking me to "right click" to enable the content to play).

edit: Now it's back to normal.... the only thing I did differently this time was to go directly to the Chrome://plugins page rather than going through the settings menu.......

Musta grimaced at it the right way this time. :)

You know.. Youtube does HTML5 now not Flash... And if you don't want flash to have you approve each time just update it ;)

Just saying.

Don't tell me... tell KelbyOne.... ;)

That said.... Just this morning I installed a Chrome Plugin to stop autoplay HTML5 ads/content... :)

Anything that autoplays is EVIL.

Fixed that for you.... (you forgot to make it bold.... :) ).

I have to say though.... the shockwave vids play and load a hell of a lot better in Edge when compared to Chrome. I switched over to Edge for these classes so I could leave my autoplay settings off in chrome (set to ask me every time) but have them work without too much hassle. (Now if only the full screen settings wouldn't reset every time a new segment came along).

Maybe I'll give Edge a second look after the win 10 refresh comes about in August.

DR says my COPD is getting worse faster than he thought........Great.

See kids smoking isnt cool, it saps the life out of you evenafter you quit, why tobacco is still allowed to be sold is just dumb. Sure it is your choice to start but kids never make good choices and face it the shit kills.

Newegg.ca is pretty close of getting on my shit list. They have fast shipping and lots of selection but their pricing practice with their "fake" deals is pissing me off.

Basically been monitoring the prices of three items for about a month now for the Samsung 950 Pro, QNAP TS-231 and the Synology 216J NAS.

Let's take this week's example... The Samsung 950 Pro 256gb was advertised in their shell shocker deal at 25% off so 229.99 instead of 299.99. The next day, the shell shocker deal is over and the item is regularly priced at 229.99. Like seriously? Stop the f***kin BS newegg.

It's been the same thing with both NAS over the last few weeks!

I hear ya there. My health is declining, I'm only 48 but I abused myself so badly in my 20's. I quit smoking 14 years ago, never fully recovered. Good luck.

Finally figured out how to block a known telemarketer number on my cell phone.... doesn't it seem a bit counter-intuitive to have to put a number into your contacts list in order to be able to block it?
