OMG Fuck You Stablebit, they updated Drivepool ok no problem but for whatever damn reason they decided to reset all the plugins and balancing settings, I only use Drivepool like a raid0 and back it up using Snapraid and physical copies of the HDD in the pool so I have 2 backups only thing I don't have is on offsite backup.

So after the plugins/balancing was reset it started to duplicate all my files off of 1 drive for whatever reason not really sure(, It took me the last 5 hrs using the DIff/difference command feature in Snapraid to see what was moved and where so I could manually rebuild the pool the way I had it.

My question is why would it Stablebit update Drivepool knowing it would do that without telling me/people that the setting/plugins would be reset and two I had it set to check for updates not just download and install them without any input from me.

come on Stablebit it doesn't even make sense with an app like that that you would reset all those setting which they must know is going to cause problems for people

is it normal for all those with basements to have condensation on your copper sump pump pipe right where the pipe meets the wall ??? there was a tiny bit of water on the wall just under the pipe, thinking it's because they removed some spray foam from the part of the pipe that would have insulated the pipe from the inside air.

Go to install an custom addon for Home Assistant. Won't install. Says I need Home Assistant version 2021.12.0, which doesn't exist yet. Can't even install an older version of the addon as every single version says it needs 2021.12. So it is impossible to install the addon.

Check out the github, others have same issue. Dev says 'Then don't install it until released.' And closes the issue.

NoI spend nearly the last 12 hours trying to convert my home automation back from my paid cloud subscription to local control + DDNS. Was an extremely frustrating day. But I think everything works... And it works so much better. Better than ever. Even fixed some of the long term issues I had.

If you want me to pay $5USD/month for a service. It absolutely should be better than not having it. I don't mind paying to help contribute to a project that I love. But damn the cloud service was just terrible. If I tell Alexa to turn my lights on, I want them on within a second or two. Not 'living room isn't communication right now' 50% of the time.
